There are no fees to anyone accessing our services.

Tools for Supporting Women
Supportive Counselling & Outreach
One-on-one counselling sessions and outreach service for women who are experiencing, or have experienced, difficulties in relationships, or for women in recovery from substance misuse.
Supportive Counselling offers...
- Confidentiality, respect, acceptance, and understanding.
- Information, advocacy, and referrals.
- Safety planning.
- Support women in recovery from substance use.
- Support during family and/or criminal court process.
- Support during meetings with other community agencies.
Stopping the Violence Counselling
One-on-one counselling services for women who have experienced physical, emotional, or sexual abuse.
STV Counselling offers...
- Confidentiality, respect, acceptance, and understanding.
- We offer crisis intervention.
- Support women survivors of various forms of abuse experienced throughout their lifespan. This includes:
- Violence of any kind (physical, emotional or psychological);
- Sexual assault; or
- Childhood abuse or violence.
Open In-Person Support Groups
Support groups are open to Women in the community.

WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT GROUP
This is an open group aimed at supporting women in their desire to break down barriers and improve their lives. Topics of discussion include:
- Abuse in relationships,
- Power and control,
- Healthy relationships,
- Boundaries,
- Self-esteem,
- Self-care,
- Compassion,
- Assertiveness,
- Making changes
SMART RECOVERY GROUP
This is an open group which supports individuals who have chosen to abstain or are considering abstinence from any type of addictive behavior, (substances or activities), by teaching how to change self-defeating thinking, emotions, and actions; and to work towards long-term satisfactions and quality of life.
