Eagle Harbour is a 55 unit building, allocating 36 units as a Supportive Second Stage Program and 19 units as Long-Term Housing. The building includes a secure outdoor play area for children, shared garden space and indoor scooter/bike parking.

Our support staff work closely with each woman, providing assistance and support where needed.

We provide opportunities for women to contribute to the overall maintenance and well-being of their living environment for the purpose of promoting self-reliance and empowerment.

What is a Supportive Second Stage Program?

A program for women and families who are recovering from violence and abuse. The program includes time-limited subsidized housing and specialized services for clients, with or without children, who are impacted by homelessness, abuse, violence, and/or substance misuse.

We recognize that 2SLGBTQI+ persons face a high risk of discrimination and abuse due to their sexual orientation, gender identity, and/or gender expression. We recognize that transgender and gender-variant individuals face the highest risk of experiencing discrimination and abuse among 2SLGBTQI+ communities. We accept gender non-conforming, non-binary, and two-spirited individuals and trans-women and their dependent children fleeing abuse.

What are the conditions of the Second Stage Program?

Must be willing to meet with staff regularly to work on personalized set goals

Must be willing to attend mandatory meetings and participate in programs

Must be able to follow all policies and rules of the building and program

What is Long-Term Housing:

Long term housing primarily for women over the age of 54 with limited fixed income.

Who is eligible?

All women with or without children who have experienced violence or are at risk of violence, as well as those who are impacted by homelessness, abuse, violence and/or substance misuse.

All personal information collected is for the management of service delivery by Campbell River and North Island Transition Society. No information will be shared with anyone outside of the organization without the express permission of the potential applicant.
